Matt Dawe
Having followed the ISL since its first season, Matt is an enthusiastic believer in the potential of swimming to be both a major global spectator sport and for engagement in the training and lifestyles of elite swimmers to be enormously beneficial to people across the world. He is excited to take on a leadership position in the ISL, which he views as the sport’s best chance to achieve this potential.
Matt is a passionate sports fan and was a competitive athlete in both swimming and a range of other sports. He aims to steer the League towards increased engagement with the swimming and wider sports community, whilst drawing on his experience as an entrepreneur to make the organisation more streamlined, adaptable and sustainable.
Ben Allen
Ben was a former international swimmer for Hong Kong, and also competitively swam for Oxford University. He has been a long-term supporter of the ISL since its inception, and is proud to become the League's commissioner as it seeks to positively transform the sport of swimming.
Separately, Ben is a serial entrepreneur. He is both an acquired founder and a partner in several ventures that span from technology and the metaverse to supporting industrialisation in the developing world.
ANDREA DE NINO
Arkadiy Voropaev
Arkadiy was a former swimmer, who proceeded to work for almost 20 years as a coach with athletes of different levels. He stood at the origins of the ISL and was part of the original team which organized the first ISL matches back in 2019. Starting in 2019, Arkadiy is currently leading the social media branch of the ISL.
Arkadiy is also involved in creating all the ISL designs, starting with digital graphics and ending with the design of the arena, music and ambience. Arkadiy was also responsible for the creation of all the ISL club logos. Finally, Arkadiy is involved in the creation of the design for athletes’ uniforms and merchandise.
Marco Aloi
Marco was a former Track and Field sprinter himself and has great level of expertise in sports management and organisation. Marco’s professional career led him to be involved in track and field, tennis, basketball and, most recently, swimming.
Marco joined the ISL team in 2021, fully leading the local organisation of the events in Naples and Eindhoven.
