Press Release

Ticketmaster and the International Swimming League announce partnership

International Swimming League ·

17 September 2026, London

The International Swimming League (“ISL”) has named Ticketmaster its exclusive ticketing partner for its return to the pool at the ISL All-Star Match. The one-night event takes place at the London Aquatics Centre in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, on Saturday 19 December 2026.

As the world's first global professional swimming league, the ISL has reimagined the sport, aligning it with the modern era. It replaced the traditional heats-and-finals format with team racing over a single evening, bringing together the best swimmers in the world in front of a live crowd.

The ISL will benefit from Ticketmaster’s scale as a leading ticketing marketplace. In addition to driving its ticket sales and promotion strategy, Ticketmaster will support the ISL with a dedicated, high-impact digital marketing campaign across its distribution channels, ensuring the ISL’s All-Star Match is showcased to millions of live sports fans in the UK and globally.

The ISL All-Star Match is a one-night, two-hour showcase of the world's fastest swimmers in a unique team-based, two-hour head-to-head competition. The competition will be contested by four teams built on a geographical principle: the United States, the Commonwealth, Europe and Interncontinental, with each comprised of the leading athletes from their respective region, bringing the world’s best male and female swimmers together under four banners. This is not a heats-and-finals meet: every race counts, every touch of the water moves the scoreboard, and only one team leaves London crowned as champions.

Between 2019 and 2021, the ISL redefined competitive swimming, making it fast, strategic and unpredictable. The All-Star Match is its first competition since, and it brings that version of the sport back: racing from the first event to the last, team tactics, momentum swings, and a DJ and full audio-visual production holding the crowd between races. Whether they have followed the ISL from the start or have never watched swimming live, London in December is where the sport returns.

Alex Berti, VP Client Development, Ticketmaster UK, said: “Swimming rarely gets a night like this. The ISL has built something genuinely made for an arena - swim teams, one night, every race on the line. Our job is to get tickets to the fans who want to be there, whether they have followed the league from the start or have never watched a swim meet in their lives.

Mario Medeiros, Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer, The ISL, said: “We are thrilled to have a world leading ticketing marketplace as our partner for the ISL’s long-awaited return to the pool. Ticketmaster’s unrivalled ticketing distribution platform and the cutting-edge technology and digital promotional strategy underpinning it, will help the ISL reach millions of potential fans both in the UK and beyond ahead of the All-Star Match in December 2026.”
