Global broadcast leader to deliver immersive, next-generation production for The International Swimming League’s All-Star Match on 19th December in London

LONDON, UK - Wednesday 30 September 2026: The International Swimming League (“ISL”) today announced the appointment of Gravity Media, global leader in live production and content and media services and facilities, as its official Broadcast Content and Production Partner.

The partnership is focused on the League's highly anticipated relaunch event, the ISL All-Star Match. The one-night event takes place at the London Aquatics Centre in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, on Saturday 19th December 2026, marking a bold new chapter for the League and for how swimming is experienced by fans worldwide as ISL returns to the pool.

The ISL All-Star Match is a one-night, two-hour showcase of the world's fastest swimmers in a unique team-based, two-hour head-to-head competition. The competition will be contested by four teams built on a geographical principle: the United States, the Commonwealth, Europe and the Rest of the World, with each comprised of the leading athletes from their respective region, bringing the world’s best male and female swimmers together under four banners. This is not a heats-and-finals meet: every race counts, every touch of the water moves the scoreboard, and only one team leaves London crowned as champions.

The partnership brings together ISL's mission to reimagine competitive swimming as fast-paced, fan-first entertainment with Gravity Media's three decades of expertise in producing complex, multi-camera live events at the highest international standard. Together, the two organisations will deliver a broadcast experience built around viewer engagement, creative storytelling, and visual spectacle, transforming the pool into an arena of world-class television production.

For the All-Star Match, Gravity Media will deploy a comprehensive production package designed to bring fans closer to the action than ever before, including:

  • Underwater and specialist cameras that will deliver unprecedented views of strokes, turns and underwater technique
  • Robotic rail camera systems, capable of dynamic, high-speed moving shots around the pool deck at speeds of up to 13 m/s to bring cinematic energy to every race
  • Gyro-stabilized robotic camera systems with 3-axis stabilisation and 8K-ready capability to deliver fluid, broadcast-grade visuals across the venue
  • Starting block and finish-line robotic mini-cams, engineered for precision coverage of race-defining moments
  • Optional real-time data integration, including augmented reality graphics, live tracking and swimmer profiles layered directly into the broadcast feed

The production will be supported by Gravity Media's full-service OB fleet and 6,000 sqm Production Centre in Cologno Monzese, Italy, ensuring world-class technical execution from the camera to final delivery.

"We are creating a visual spectacle that captures the speed, athleticism and drama of our event in a way audiences have never experienced," said Mario Medeiros, Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer, ISL. "Gravity Media shares our vision of pushing creative and technical boundaries, and their track record with major international sporting events makes them the ideal partner as we relaunch the ISL on the global stage."

Claudio Cavalotti, Gravity Media’s Italy Managing Director, commented: “With the International Swimming League, we aim to take the storytelling of swimming into a new dimension, transforming television production into an immersive and engaging experience. Technology enables us to enhance the competition through unique perspectives, dynamic camera work, and the integration of data and digital content, highlighting performance, speed, and emotion. It is a challenge that demands precision, flexibility, and innovation, with every technology serving the story. The ISL All-Star Match in London represents an opportunity for Gravity Media Italy to contribute to a new broadcasting language for swimming, drawing on the Group's international experience in delivering major sporting events while making viewers feel truly part of the race.”

Notes to Editors:

About the International Swimming League (ISL):

Forget everything you thought you knew about swimming.

The ISL tore up the rulebook. It built something the sport had never seen before: fast, ferociously competitive, team-based racing designed for fans, built for broadcast, and made to deliver unforgettable moments. The ISL gave the biggest names in swimming what elite athletes in other premier sports already had - a stage of their own. Real prize money. Team pride. High stakes on every single length, where the clock is not the only thing that matters.

Across three unforgettable seasons between 2019 and 2021, the ISL lit up three continents with competing franchise clubs from North America, Europe and Asia, and a roster stacked with the greatest swimmers on the planet. Two-hour matches crackling with intensity. Point scoring that turned every race into a team battle. Coaches plotting line-ups, saving their strongest swimmers, and timing every selection to maximise points. Fierce rivalries igniting the moment the water broke, swimmer against swimmer, team against team, with everything on the line. The ISL didn't just prove swimming could be entertaining. It proved it could be electric.

And now, the ISL is back. The League returns sharper, smarter and built to last. This is the next chapter of a movement that changed what swimming could be and it's about to do it again, bigger and bolder than ever.

About The All-Star Match:

On Saturday 19 December 2026, the ISL is hosting its All-Star Match in London: a one-night showcase of the world's fastest swimmers in a unique two-hour head-to-head competition. The match marks the return of the ISL, bringing back the dynamic, unpredictable version of swimming in a world-class venue with a live crowd and global audience watching the best compete head-to-head.

Expect high-octane racing from first event to last, team tactics, momentum swings, and a venue energised by a DJ, with unique visual and audio production galvanising the atmosphere between races. Whether you have followed the ISL from the start or this is your first taste of swimming reimagined, London in December is where the sport comes back to life.

About the London Aquatics Centre:
