Professional (PRO) commitments
I. During the Term, the swimmer must be available for each match. Term starts on June 1st and ends on December 31st.
II. May miss match(es) if injured, sick or not selected by Head Coach. If injured or sick, ISL requires a medical certificate. ISL has the right to verify the certificate through a second examination with a doctor of its choice. During Regular Season only, may miss 1 match, if said match overlaps with competitions described in the Appendix. The time frame allowed is: the competition program plus 3 days before and 3 days after (does not apply to wild card match).
III. If injured, the Head Coach may require the athlete to be present at matches, if the recovery process allows it.
IV. During the Term, the swimmer is not allowed to attend at any other commercial competition. Commercial competitions are defined in the Appendix.
V. During the Term, the swimmer is not allowed to promote other sport properties or events, without ISL’s prior approval. If a swimmer’s existing contractual obligation about the above exists, the swimmer must inform ISL at least 2 weeks in advance in order to receive approval.
VI. During the Term, the swimmer must be available for all indicated obligations in the agreement. For example, but not limited to: photoshoots, promotional activities, CSR activities and more; always considering the swimmer’s club match schedule.
VII. Swimsuit and goggle brand(s) are swimmer's choice; ISL reserves the right to choose the swimsuit color. The swimmer must wear the club apparel; no option to decline any logo on the apparel of the club.
VIII. ISL has all rights on the swim cap (e.g. logos in the front, back and sides).
IX. If an under 18yo swimmer wishes to declare PRO status (date of age to be considered the date of contract’s signature), they must contact ISL and the request will be reviewed accordingly, and if approved, the agreement will differ from an adult swimmer.
Semi-Professional (Semi-PRO)
Same as PRO, except as indicated below:
I. The swimmer may skip up to 3 matches in Regular Season.
II. The swimmer is allowed to compete in non-ISL commercial competitions, only during the following dates:
a. 4-July to 19-August, 2022
b. 8-October to 21-October, 2022
c. 5-December to 26-December, 2022
III. The swimmer cannot refuse to compete in Playoffs, if selected by the club, but can skip 1 match in Playoffs.
IV. The swimmer cannot refuse to compete in a wild card match, if selected by the club.
V. The swimmer cannot refuse to compete in the Final match, if selected by the club.
VI. The swimmer is not allowed to promote other sports properties or events during their matches period (period is 3 days before, ISL club match days and 3 days after).
VII. The swimmer must wear the club’s apparel; option to decline manufacturer logo of the apparel of the club but no option to request a personal apparel manufacturer logo or any other commercial partner’s logo on the club’s apparel.
VIII. The swimmer will be committed in fewer activations (promo etc.) than the PRO swimmers; i.e. no social obligations, only non-commercial promotional activities during their presence at an ISL location. Details to be indicated in the relevant agreement.
Salaries, Loyalty Bonus and „Aggregated Rating Bonus” to be communicated to swimmers that are selected by an ISL Club.
